Week #9

The prompt is:

...the orange one spoke first…

Me and my sister were trick or treating. We went up to the next house. They had so many decorations it looked so cool. We walked up and we saw a bunch of blow up decorations. There were cool colored ones. Then before we pass, they started talking. The orange one spoke first.

“Happy Halloween” it said. We kept walking and we come to a person sitting on the front porch.

“Trick or treat” we say. The lady on the perch puts out her bull of candy and we both take a candy.

“Thank you and cool decorations” I say.

Week #8

These words ALL have to be in your writing but they can be in any order.

They are:

Balloon Never Kicked Brown Frightening

“What about this one,” I said as I pointed to a frightening clown costume.

“Maybe not but you can try it on” my mom said. I took the costume. As I was walking to the fitting rooms I saw a ball next to a soccer costume. I kicked the ball over to the costume and kept walking, I go into the fitting room. I put the costume on and grab the red with brown handle balloon. I walked out to show my mom the costume. “ Um ill never let you buy that” mom said.

“Ok” I said with a sigh.

  1. Lindsey,
I would have been very startled if a decoration spoke to me. The narrator and her sister must have been very brave to continue on trick-or-treating. Thanks for sharing your story.
    Keep writing.
